About Us

Located in Wayzata, Minnesota, Erickson Log and Timberframe Homes is a full service General Contractor who builds only log and timberframe homes.

We are Independent Representatives for both Real Log Homes® and Timberpeg®.  We will complete turn-key projects or do any portion of the project including design, erecting the shell, project and budget management and managing any and all sub-contractors.  We will also design and sell the pre-cut log home or timber frame home, and work with a client selected contractor to erect the log or timberframe package.

Our model log home is in Outing, MN and we invite you to contact us to set up a time to take a tour.  The owner of Erickson Log and Timberframe Homes is Walt Erickson – a Minnesota native.    Walt knows full well that when he is building a log or timber frame home here in Minnesota, he’s not just building it for a customer; he’s building it for a neighbor.  We truly pride ourselves on the local service that we provide at every step of the building process.

We have strong partnerships with many sub-contractors here in Minnesota, allowing us to select and assemble the best team for the construction of your log or timber frame home.
